Community Partners

LJ Hooker Collaroy pride themselves on providing great service to all their clients. Dee Why RSL has a widely respected community support focus. Dee Why RSL is well known to many Long Reef SLSC club members as long-term sponsor, who have been supporting the club for many seasons. Significant donations have been made to the club by the RSL allowing for the purchase of lifesaving equipment, development of our youth and covering some of the clubs running expenses. Many Long Reef SLSC members are also members of Dee Why RSL and enjoy regular use of their fantastic facilities including the bistro, restaurants, meeting rooms, the car wash and of course the AMF bowling centre.

Dee Why Automotive Services is run by locals, Fred & Gloria Tilley. Located at 178 South Creek Road, Dee Why West, Fred & Gloria have been supporting the club for over 20 years providing fuel for IRBs on patrol, racing and training. They have also assisted in servicing club trailers for surfboats allowing boats to be transported to various carnivals. Dee Why Automotive has provided extraordinary support to Long Reef over the years. Arthouse Hotel has to be seen to be believed with numerous bars and 19th Century plasterwork and stencing. The Hotel has a lavish restaurant upstairs and caters for weddings and other functions. The Arthouse is very popular with a wide range of age groups and is open day and night. The Arthouse Hotel currently sponsors one of the club's Surf Boats. Medical Equipment & Gases Australia has been established in the New South Wales medical equipment market for over 20 years and has focused on providing equipment gases and services that meet the statutory requirements of the Therapeutic Goods Administration, Work Cover Australia and the Australian Standards Association. MEGA has for the last few years serviced the club's Oxygen equipment, provided Oxygen bottles and re fitted the clubs first aid room. MEGA is also a sponsor of the NSW State Champions U17 Patrol Competition Team. Their service delivery to the club has been second to none.

Fitness First is a new sponsor of Long Reef SLSC for season 2009/10. Fitness First became involved with the Fenn Cup Ocean Racing Series and further supported the club by supplying two 3 x 3 metre pop-up tents for our Nippers to ensure reduced exposure to our hot sun. We welcome Fitness First as a sponsor and look forward to working with them in years to come.

Wade Oldham Finance situated in Lane Cover has been a sponsor of the Long Reef SLSC Nippers for the last few seasons. Their support has allowed for the purchase of a number of Nipper Racing Boards and other equipment.

Newport Arms is a sponsor of Long Reef Nippers. The Newport Arms is one of the largest, family-friendly venues on the Northern Beaches with several bars, restaurants and a huge outdoor seating area with great views over the Pittwater.

This is a three season sponsorship deal which assists in the running costs of the vehicle as well as other rescue / lifesaving equipment to extend patrolling services on Long Reef Beach.

Sydney Northern Beaches Branch and SLSA Sponsors.

Yamaha are a National SLSA sponsor however provided Long Reef SLSC funding through the Yamaha SLSA gear grant to purchase the clubs current Rhino All Terrain vehicle and previous 4 x 4 Quad bike. These grants being in excess of $15,000. The current ATV allows us to extend our patrol services outside of the flagged area as well as transport large amounts of medical and other equipment onto our beach for patrols.

Coca Cola has been a major sponsor of SLSSNB and the 21 clubs for the past 16 years. Coca Cola have poured millions of dollars into the organisation over this time and their support has allowed our lifesaving operations to continue to grow. Coke have provided Long Reef with several patrol IRB engines over the years as well as providing patrols shelter from the sun, wind and rain under the Coke patrol tent
